<div style="text-align: justify;">Gosto da palavra couscous. Tem ritmo, sonoridade. É uma palavra que dança. Aquilo a que se refere pode ter, pelo contrário, um aspecto algo desinteressante. Mas, depois de cozinhado, pode ser tão saboroso! A minha maneira preferida de comer couscous é com legumes salteados. Nada de carne. Nada de peixe. É um prato rico em sabor, leve e óptimo para o calor. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">O primeiro passo é cozinhar o couscous e, neste ponto, a minha medida de referência é uma chávena de chá para uma pessoa. Assim, numa tigela coloca-se uma chávena de chá de couscous e junta-se a mesma medida de água bem quente (sem estar a ferver). Tapa-se a tigela e, quando a água for completamente absorvida, é sinal de que o couscous está pronto. Agora vamos aos legumes. Eu usei cenoura, feijão-verde e courgette cortados em palitos, e salteei-os separadamente num pouco de azeite. Não é preciso muito mais.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">No final, coloca-se o couscous na frigideira previamente usada para saltear os legumes, mexendo um pouco só para soltar mais o couscous e dar-lhe um pouco de cor.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">De seguida, é só misturar tudo numa tigela e temperar com um pouco de sal e limão. Eu também adicionei tomate para dar um sabor mais fresco. E pronto! Fácil, rápido e maravilhoso. Quem disse que o couscous é desinteressante?</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

<li>5 cl rum ou outra bebida <em>(rum or other drink)</em></li>
<li>300 gr. farinha <em>(flour)</em></li>
<li>2 clhr. café de fermento em pó <em>(coffee spoon baking powder)</em></li>
<li>25 gr. cacau em pó <em>(cocoa powder)</em></li>
<li>4 cl leite <em>(milk)</em></li>
</ul>Pré-aqueça o forno a 180ºC. Barre e enfarinhe uma forma de 28 x 10 cm (tipo bolo inglês).<br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">Numa taça, misture a manteiga amolecida com o açúcar em pó até obter uma consistência bem cremosa. Junte os ovos, um a um, mexendo bem entre eles. A seguir acrescente o rum ou, como no meu caso, tequilla (pode usar qualquer bebida deste tipo), a farinha e o fermento, peneirados. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Divida a mistura em duas partes iguais. Misture o cacau com o leite e incorpore-o, progressivamente, numa das misturas. De seguida, encha a forma alternadamente com a mistura "natural" e a de chocolate. Leve ao forno por cerca de 50 min e já está!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

<li>240 ml <em>buttermilk</em> <strong>ou</strong> adicione 1 clhr chá vinagre a 240 ml leite e deixe estar por 10 min. <em>(buttermilk <strong>or</strong> add 1 teaspoon vinager to 240 ml milk and leave for 10 min.)</em></li>
<li><strong>MAIS</strong> 1 clhr chá fermento e 1 clhr chá vinagre <em>(<strong>PLUS</strong> 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1 teaspoon vinager) </em></li>
</ul><div style="text-align: justify;">Pré-aqueça o forno a 180ºC. Coloque as formas de papel num tabuleiro para <em>cupcakes/muffins </em>(esta receita faz cerca de 24 cupcakes).</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Numa taça, misture a farinha, o sal e o fermento. Numa outra taça, junte o cacau ao corante até formar uma pasta. Numa taça grande, bata a manteiga com o açúcar e a baunilha, e adicione os ovos um a um. De seguida, junte a pasta do corante e misture bem (é nesta altura que a cor vermelha do corante se vai notar). Depois, adicione alternadamente, metade da farinha e do <em>buttermilk </em>até ficar tudo muito bem misturado. À parte, misture o fermento com o vinagre e junte à mistura. Espalhe a massa pelas formas e leve ao forno por cerca de 20 minutos. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Dica: Ao fazer a receita reparei que a mistura do cacau com o corante é um pouco difícil, pois o corante não se dissolve com facilidade. A minha dica é juntem só um bocadinho de leite, uma vez que ajuda bastante a que tudo se misture melhor.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Primeiro, coloco uma frigideira com um pouco de azeite em lume brando. Depois tosto algumas fatias de pão nesse azeite só até ficar crocante e dourado. Retiro o pão e salteio na mesma frigideira os ingredientes que quiser pôr por cima. Na primeira imagem, temos cogumelos portobello, azeitonas, tomate seco e salsa; e na segunda imagem, temos tomate cereja, alho françês e salsa.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

Misture a farinha, o coco ralado, o bicarbonato, o fermento em pó, o açúcar e a raspa de limão numa taça grande. Noutra taça, misture o sumo de limão e o leite, e junte depois os ovos e a manteiga derretida (já fria).</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">De seguida, misture os ingredientes líquidos com os sólidos e vá mexendo tudo com um garfo. A massa deve ficar grumosa e os ingredientes o menos misturados possível.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Coloque os invólucros de papel nas formas de queque, tire a massa para cada um deles e leve ao forno por 20 min. Serve cerca de 12 queques.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

</ul>Pré-aqueça o forno a 180ºC. Barre uma forma com manteiga, ou margarina.<br />

Lave, descasque e raspe as cenouras. Numa taça, mexa os ovos e o açúcar. Numa outra taça, coloque a farinha, o fermento e as nozes e amêndas em pó já peneiradas, e, de seguida, junte os ovos pouco a pouco, nunca deixando de mexer. Depois adicione o óleo, o sal e as cenouras, mexendo bem a mistura até que fique homogénea. Despeje a mistura na forma e leve ao forno por 40 min.<br />

<em>Preheat the oven at 180ºC. Brush a tin with butter or margerine.</em><br />

<em>Wash, peel and grate the carrots. In a bowl, stir in the eggs and sugar. In another bowl, sift in the flour, baking powder and the groung walnuts and almonds. Then add the eggs, little by little, and never stop mixing the ingredients. Next, add the oil, a pinch of salt and the carrots. Mix everything well together. Pour the mixture in the tin and put it in the oven for 40 min.</em><br />

Corte a manteiga em cubos, coloque-os numa taça e mexa levemente para ficar mais cremosa. De seguida, adicione o açúcar, a amêndoa em pó, o sal, as sementes de baunilha, o ovo e a farinha, mexendo bem sempre que cada ingrediente for adicionado para que fique bem incorporado. Forme uma bola com a massa, envolva-a com película aderente e coloque-a no frigorífico durante duas horas. <strong>Nota:</strong> se não tiver a vagem de baunilha pode substituí-la por uma colher de chá de extracto de baunilha.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Pré-aqueça o forno a 180ºC e barre uma forma quadrada ou rectangular com manteiga. Parta o chocolate em bocados, derreta-o em banho-maria e em lume branco, e deixe arrefecer. Corte a manteiga em cubos, derreta-a e deixe, também, arrefecer. Numa tigela, mexa os ovos e o açúcar, e adicione a manteiga e o chocolate. Peneire a farinha e junte-a à mistura. Corte as nozes grosseiramente e junte-as, também, à mistura. Coloque a massa na forma e leve a cozer por cerca de 15 a 20 min. A massa deve ficar bem húmida. Tire do forno, deixe arrefecer e corte em quadrados.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br />

Place the dough in the tin and put it in the oven for 15 to 20 min. The dough should be really moist.
